Partners Offer Storage Strategies For Machine Learning

Vexata, in collaboration with partner GPL Technologies, exhibits its transformative Scalable File Storage System at GTC 2018, booth No. 2237 from March 26–29. The Vexata File Solution targets demanding AI, machine and deep learning workloads. By combining the VX- 100F Scalable Flash Array, powered by the company's VX-OS software with a high-performance file system, the Vexata File Solution enables organizations to support and accelerate next-gen data pipelines and reduce time to market.

 

Vexata and GPL will showcase how this solution significantly eliminates input-output bottlenecks in data centers without requiring customers to re-architect their IT infrastructure.   • The enterprise-hardened IBM Spectrum Scale file system software running on up to four standard dual socket Intel Xeon servers 

The result is a scalable file storage system, supporting industry-standard NFSv3 and GPFS distributed file system protocols at 1M+ random file IOPS, 50GB/s read, 20GB/s write bandwidth, 30 GB/s of mixed bandwidth and up to 180TB of protected capacity.
