SST Sensing has introduced specialist engineering support for all customers prior to them making a purchase. The service follows a successful trial and the company believe it will be of enormous value to customers.
SST Marketing Manager, Siobhan Dalziel, explained the change “we’ve always offered specialist engineering support to our customers but it usually took place after a purchase. Customers often asked for help with implementation or integrating our sensors into their system and it became obvious to us that had we been more involved earlier in the process a lot of the issues customers faced could have been avoided. We’ve in-house specialists in physics, electronics, software and mechanical design with a huge depth of knowledge and experience of gas and fluid sensing solutions, their assistance making the correct choice of sensor can make a huge difference to a project. We introduced this pre-purchase engineering assistance to a couple of clients recently and the feedback was so positive we’ve decided to offer it to all our customers. It’s an increased investment for us but we really believe it will provide enormous value for those customers who don’t themselves have huge technical knowledge.”
