As the IoT expands and billions to trillions of sensors are deployed globally, it’s one thing to receive data from all of them and another to monitor their condition and functionality. Monitoring sensor power sources, levels, and quality is yet another factor. One thing they all have in common is the associated costs related to monitoring and collecting data.

Sensors Midwest Hits Rosemont, IL October 16-17!

The session examines the development challenges and benefits associated with this solution by examining a real customer case study. This frank assessment of what went well and what didn't will provide meaningful learnings for both solution developers and potential customers for these solutions.

 

Ed Crowley is a successful entrepreneur with tenures at Lexmark and Texas Instruments. Most recently, Mr. Crowley founded Virtulytix Inc., a producer Predictive Analytics solutions. Virtulytix provides applied analytics solutions to optimize Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) assets by deploying prescriptive service, predictive logistics and inventory optimization, and manufacturing quality. Virtulytix is an IBM Watson IoT Advanced Analytics development partner and has patented a unique solution for true just-in-time supplies/inventory replenishment named SuppliesIQ. He is a thought leader in servitization, product development, strategic marketing and predictive analytics.

 

Crowley holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Missouri (Agricultural Economics Major, Computer Science Minor) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. He is currently pursuing his doctorate degree in business at the University of Manchester in Manchester, England. He is also Certified New Product Development Professional (NPDP).
