IR Sensor Can Really Stand The Heat

The Balluff BTS infrared temperature sensor with IO-Link interface provides two switching outputs and can monitor temperatures between +250°C and +1,250°C. It is capable of operation in hazardous or inaccessible as well as detecting hot objects in motion. The sensor measures and records temperature values without contact.


Housed in the rugged M30 stainless steel housing, the BTS offers IP67 protection and is said to be the first such device in this form factor to offer a multi-function display with plain text information and automatic display orientation like a smartphone. In addition to two switching outputs, this pyrometer provides an IO-Link interface for remote parameter setting
