Inertial-Grade MEMS Accelerometers Pack Temp Sensor

The Model 1525 Series commercial and inertial-grade MEMS capacitive accelerometers, feature a ±4V differential analog output stage, internal temperature sensor, and integral sense amplifier. Housed within a miniature, nitrogen damped, hermetically sealed, surface mounted J-lead LCC-20 ceramic package (U.S. Export Classification ECCN 7A994), the devices operate from +5 Vdc, 5 mA supplies.

Five full-scale ranges of ±2g, ±5g, ±10g, ±25g, and ±50g are available and each accelerometer in the series operates over a standard operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. They are also relatively insensitive to wide temperature changes and gradients. Each device is marked with a serial number on its top and bottom surfaces for traceability. A calibration test sheet is supplied with each unit, showing measured bias, scale factor, linearity, operating current, and frequency response.

Sensors 2018 Hits Silicon Valley June 26-28!

Join thousands of engineers this June in San Jose at the sensor industry’s biggest event! With 65+ Technical Sessions, 100+ Leading Speakers, and 300+ Interactive Exhibits, there’s more opportunity than ever to connect with this booming industry and the technologies driving it. See thousands of the newest technologies in action, learn about the latest applications, including AI, Autonomous Vehicles, IoT, and Medical, and develop invaluable partnerships at the only event dedicated to sensors, connectivity, and systems.

The Model 1525 Series is suitable for zero-to-medium frequency instrumentation applications that require high-repeatability, low noise, and maximum stability, including tactical guidance systems, navigation and control systems (GN&C), AHRS, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), robotic controllers, flight control systems, and marine- and land-based navigational systems. They may also be used to support critical industrial test requirements, such as those common to agricultural, oil and gas drilling, photographic and meteorological drones, as well as seismic and inertial measurements. For your quest for extended knowledge and insights, datasheets are available for the Model 1525 Series and Low-G Model 1525 accelerometers.
