Heat Flux & Temperature Sensor Is Quite Sensitive

The greenTEG gSKIN XO-Temp is a combined heat-flux and temperature sensor exhibiting an impressive min./avg. sensitivity of 10/20 μV/(W/m2). Thermopiles are highly integrated in the sensor substrate, which reportedly leads to exceptional sensitivity. Water and corrosion proof, the sensor meets protection class IP44 and is protected from water spray from any direction.

 

The gSKIN XO-Temp has an integrated surface temperature sensor with an accuracy of ± 0.1°C and a resolution of 0.01°C. It has a low-noise design and very low energy consumption.

Digital data transmission is not sensitive to cable length, cable resistance or impedance, and is not influenced by electromagnetic noise. Standard cables can be used for extensions.

 

The component can take heat flux measurements with an accuracy of ±3% and is specially shielded against external factors such as changing ambient temperatures. Other features include:
