EVERETT, WA -- The Fluke Connect System and the Fluke Ti400 Infrared Camera were honored in the Plant Engineering 2014 Product of the Year Awards. Fluke Connect won the Gold Award in the Apps for Engineers category and the Ti400 won the Silver Award in the Maintenance Tools and Equipment category.
This is the eighth honor for Fluke Connect since its launch in May 2014 and the ninth for the Ti400.
The Fluke Connect system allows technicians to wirelessly transmit measurement data from their test tools to their smart phones for secure storage on the cloud and universal team access from the field. Having access to maintenance records at the inspection site enables better, faster decision making and real-time collaboration between team members.
More than 20 Fluke Connect enabled tools connect wirelessly with the app (a free download from Google Play and the Apple App Store), including digital multimeters, infrared cameras, insulation testers, process meters, and specific voltage, current and temperature models.
The Ti400 Infrared Camera has advanced connectivity and accuracy to maximize technicians' productivity in the field. It features LaserSharp® Auto Focus, which uses a built-in laser distance meter to calculate and display the distance to the designated target with pinpoint accuracy.
The camera, which is also part of the Fluke Connect system, includes voice annotation, eliminating the need to write down notes, Fluke SmartView® software, a professional suite of analysis and reporting tools for optimizing and analyzing infrared images and producing professional reports, and optional field installable telephoto and wide angle lenses for added versatility.
