Encoders Offer High Performance, Low Profile

The QM35 and QML35 modular incremental optical encoders from Quantum Devices are described as high-performance components in low-profile modular packages.  They are groomed for high-volume QEM applications and are priced competitively for all size servo motors and other precision motion control positioning systems. 

 

Available in 14 standard precision line counts to 13 bits or 8192 counts, the QM and QML models are compatible for motor commutation control of three-phase 4-, 6-, 8-, and 10-pole servo motors.  Both encoder models use a patented lock-n-twist mechanism that promises to ease installation. Motor shaft sizes up to 0.375 inches can be easily accommodated.

Sensors Midwest Hits Rosemont, IL October 16-17!

Sensors Midwest, the industry's largest event focusing on sensors, design, and IIoT in the Midwest region, is scheduled for October 16-17 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Both models specify an operating temperature range from -30°C to +115°C.  There are two connector schemes: the QM35 uses a 15-pin connector (full complement output signals) and the QML35 employs a simpler 8-pin arrangement (single ended/TTL).
