Kavlico Aerospace, Moorpark, CA, offers a dual-channel pressure sensor capable of measuring pressures up to 4000 psia or 275 bar and intended for use in aircraft hydraulic and fuel systems. Features include a 6.5 oz. max. aluminum housing, a small footprint for reduced installation time, 5–15 VDC supply voltage, ±1% F.S. output accuracy, 0–100 mV (nonamplified) output at 10 VDC excitation, and a 0°C–200°F operating temperature range. The oil-filled, piezoresistive sensor can operate in harsh, flight-critical environments with a typical MTBF of 300,000 hr. at nominal operating temperatures. Each of the channel pressures are independent of one another, allowing the channels to be calibrated with different pressure outputs for each.
