Connector Increases Density And AC Power Options

Samtec offers a higher density signal count and an ac power option in the EXTreme Ten60Power system. The EXTreme Ten60Power header and socket system (ET60T/ET60S Series) is available in both power/signal combinations and power only for increased design flexibility. The latest five-row signal option allows for up to 40 positions in the same form factor as the 3-row option. For higher density without the need for additional space, the five-row design features a 2-mm pitch, versus the three-row on a 2.54-mm pitch.

The ac power option provides greater system flexibility, which is configurable to meet most application specifications. The ac power blades feature a 7.5-mm pitch to accommodate higher voltage levels, while dc power blades are on a 5.5-mm pitch to carry a lower, more constant voltage level. Additionally, the power blades can be selectively loaded to achieve any specific creepage and clearance requirements.

Sensors Midwest Hits Rosemont, IL October 16-17!

Sensors Midwest, the industry's largest event focusing on sensors, design, and IIoT in the Midwest region, is scheduled for October 16-17 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Co-located with STMA, the event draws over 1,000 engineers and engineering professionals that are looking for access to the latest sensor advancements and will provide an opportunity to connect with the area's greatest technology leaders and suppliers.

The family delivers current performance to 60A per power blade with a 10-mm profile design for enhanced system flow. Symmetrical or asymmetrical power configurations are available, as well as ac/dc combinations. A split power option is in development. This system features a hot swap option and is rated for a maximum voltage of 250V. For more details and engaging specs, visit the EXTreme Ten60Power page.
