CMOS Image Sensor Sees All In Darkness

SmartSens’ SC4236 CMOS image sensor addresses the demand for clarity in low-light photographic applications. The SC4236 measures 1/2.6 inches with a pixel size of 2.5 μm x 2.5 μm and a 2304H x 1536V effective pixel array. The maximum frame rate at maximum resolution reaches 30 fps, and it supports both 4:3 and 16:9 video through both DVP and MIPI outputs.

Based on the big pixel and advanced circuit architecture, the sensor specifies a sensitivity reaching 3000 mV/Lux-s and its SNR1s performance is 0.39Lux. Additionally, the SC4236 can adapt to the temperature ranging from -30ºC - 85ºC, assuring its stability during long operation and compliance with industrial application standards.
