Clock Oscillator Ticks Off Between 1 to 2.2 GHz

IQD’s IQXO-597 range of clock oscillators specify an ultra-high frequency range between 1 GHz and 2.2 GHz. Housed in a six-pad, 14 mm x 9 mm x 3.3 mm surface-mount package has an FR4 base with a non-hermetically sealed metal lid. The IQXO-597 is available in three different outputs: sine, differential sine, and LVPECL.

With a frequency stability of ±20 ppm over an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, maximum frequency deviation from nominal is ±70 ppm (including Frequency Tolerance at 25°C, operating temperature range, supply voltage variation, load variation and 10 years ageing at 25°C). The component is viable for applications such as 100G/400G data communications, high speed ADC, DAC & SerDes, as well as coherent optical modules.
