XCOM Selects IMT to Manufacture MEMS-Based RF Relays

The two companies have implemented an effective wafer manufacturing process to produce die with exceptional performance, reliability, and environmental ruggedness.


SIGNAL HILL & SANTA BARBARA, CA /BUSINESS WIRE/ -- XCOM Wireless Inc. (XCOM), an award-winning developer of radio frequency (RF) products, has selected Innovative Micro Technology (IMT), a leading micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) contract manufacturer, to manufacture die for their RF MEMS Relay product. XCOM and IMT have implemented an effective wafer manufacturing process to produce RF relay die with exceptional performance, reliability, and environmental ruggedness. XCOM is now sampling their RF MEMS Relay product for size-constrained and performance-critical applications in automated test equipment (ATE), RF test equipment, civilian radios, and military radios.
