Comtech Receives $11.1 Million of OrdersJuly 30, 2009
The movement tracking system orders are for satellite network bandwidth and technical support for the U.S. Army under its Movement Tracking System contract.
MELVILLE, NY (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., received orders totaling $11.1 million under its Movement Tracking System, or MTS contract, with the U.S. Army. Total orders received to date against the $605.1 million MTS contract increased to $546.2 million.
The orders are for the supply of satellite network bandwidth, as well as installation, training and technical support services, the large majority of which are expected to be provided in fiscal 2010, and are in support of ongoing MTS program activities in the United States and abroad.
