January 1, 2006 By: Barbara G. Goode, Sensors Sensors

Cyberkinetics' BrainGate, a system in development to provide thought-controllable computer operating for people with severe paralysis, was featured on NBC's Today Show on December 1. The segment featured Matthew Nagle, the first participant in Cyberkinetics' ongoing clinical trial, who commanded the prosthetic hand on a table beside him to open and close.
