HVACR DISTRIBUTORS ADOPT THE LATEST SUPPORT TECHNOLOGY: AXONJanuary 21, 2014
Intelligent Mobile Support introduces Axon at AHR Show
Solon, OH – With the endorsement of some of the nation’s most respected distributors already backing its industry-leading technology, Axon is making its HVACR debut at the AHR Show in New York, January 21-23.
Axon, a smartphone/tablet application developed by Intelligent Mobile Support (IMS) in Solon, Ohio, is designed to streamline and strengthen the technical support process. It includes Hot Pages from OEM manuals to help technicians find installment and repair solutions quickly; Live Connect, a direct line to service experts, typically at the distributor level; and Customer Connect, which provides quick access to customer data and contact information.
Gustave A. Larson Company recently adopted the new technology, citing Axon’s positive influence on new-customer recruitment and loyalty-building with established customers. “Axon helps us differentiate ourselves from our competitors,” says Marketing Specialist David Blau. “It makes our customers’ technicians more efficient in the field and gives them immediate access to our service advisors. Axon is a great marketing solution, too. We can send marketing messages via text or display banner advertisements while the service technicians are troubleshooting the equipment. IMS has developed an amazing product; we’re very excited to share it with our dealer base as well as prospective business partners.”
HVAC Distributors Inc. has been using Axon successfully as well. “As we continue to expand our territory, we’ve found that Axon gives us a real leg up when dealers are evaluating distributors,” says President David McIlwaine. “They see how committed we are to the success of our business partners and appreciate that we equip them with state-of-the-art technology to boost their productivity and sales potential while lowering their costs. It’s a great point of differentiation – one that has already played a pivotal role in our relationship-building efforts.”
IMS is doing live demos of Axon at the AHR Show and offers free webinars to distributors interested in learning more about its capabilities.
