National Semiconductor Corp., Santa Clara, CA, introduces the LM5035 half-bridge PWM controller for use in telecommunications, data communications, and industrial control systems. The device integrates a voltage-mode PWM controller with high- and low-side 2 A peak gate drivers and 2 programmable secondary-side synchronous rectifier FET drivers. Features include synchronous rectifier controls with programmable delays, voltage-mode control, line feed-forward compensation, resistor-programmed oscillator, programmable line under-voltage lock-out, and adjustable soft start.
