The Model 4000 from Measurement Specialties Inc., Hampton, VA, is a DC-response signal-conditioned accelerometer with integral temperature compensation and designed for low-frequency monitoring in transportation, test, instrumentation, and vibration sensing applications. Output is ±2 V F.S. with a ±2.5 V reference for single-ended or differential configuration. Dynamic ranges are from ±2 g to ±200 g. The device operates from a 8–24 VDC supply, draws 5 mA, has ±1% F.S. linearity, 0–250 Hz to 0–1500 Hz frequency response, and 1000–10 mV/g sensitivities.
