Weed Instrument, Round Rock, TX, offers the Model A9540 miniature RTD surface sensor designed to perform in high-vibration and high-shock environments (up to 80 g). Constructed of ceramic, the sensor has a platinum wire-wound element with a –260°C to 400°C temperature range and ±1°C interchangeability at 0°C. Features include a flat mounting surface, <0.2 g weight, 0.150 by 0.150 by 0.055 in. size, and 0.3 s max. time constant. Applications include commercial and military aviation and defense equipment, motor testing, cryogenic uses, analytical equipment, and commercial ovens.
