The IK-TF9C from Toshiba America, Imaging Systems Div., Irvine, CA, is a 2048 by 1536 pixel output resolution, 3-chip, color CCD camera with a 20 frame/s (full-frame) frame rate (40 frames/s, partial scan). The 165 g, 44 by 44 by 78.3 mm camera incorporates the company's progressive scan technology which eliminates image-jitter. Features include a C mount, an 8-bit RGB output, and Camera Link compatibility. Applications include inspecting larger surfaces in high-speed industrial machine vision.
