Divelbiss Corp., Fredericktown, OH, offers the HEC-1000 harsh-environment controller based on the company's PLC on a Chip technology. The controller has a sealed, water-tight enclosure (submersible to 3 ft.) with pluggable connectors and is programmed using the company's EZ Ladder software. Features include 12–26.4 VDC input power, 10–32 VDC inputs, two 40 kHz high-speed counters, two 10-bit 0–20 mA analog inputs, a real-time clock, and PWM/digital outputs with automatic over-current safety and programmable status monitoring. Network communication is via 2 CAN ports. Applications include engine-driven pumps and compressors, mobile asset management and tracking, and intelligent mining or oil field equipment.
