The CW85 from NavSync Ltd., Aurora, IL, integrates the company's low-signal-strength GPS receiver with an 802.11 transmitter to provide location broadcasts over WiFi. The device can be embedded or packaged in any device that needs to broadcast its location to tracking units equipped with 802.11 receivers. The unit does not need a clear view of the sky to attain GPS lock and accuracy position information. The CW85 is offered as an open board, embedded device, or in an enclosure. Options such as geo fencing, polling, and sleep mode are available.
