March 22, 2007

The new company combines OA's industrial automation and distributed process control expertise with KSE Protech's automation software and hardware know-how.

KSE Protech BV and ObjectAutomation Corporation (OA) have joined forces in a move that combines OA's industrial automation and distributed process control technology with KSE's strengths in global automation software and hardware solution delivery. The resulting company, known as OA International BV, is now a 200+ employee global automation solutions provider capable of driving worldwide growth, technology innovation, and customer satisfaction.

KSE Protech, founded in 1973, has been an OA business partner for eight years. In that period, KSE has been highly successful in developing and delivering OA software and hardware solutions to the Food & Feed, Building Materials, and Chemicals industries across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

ObjectAutomation, founded in 1996, is the industry pioneer and leader in the development of object-based industrial automation solutions. The OA core product allows for graphical PC-based and embedded control, HMI and process visualization, alarms and event notification, data historian and trending, and web-based visibility. It has a component-based technical architecture that is highly distributed, graphical, and scalable.

The newly merged OA International will focus its efforts into four major industry verticals, and they are the Food and Feed industry, Energy & Utilities, Industrial Manufacturing, and Industrial Services.
