Calgary Motorists Don't See Value in Road Sensors

[CityTV, Calgary] Three months ago, the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada installed sensors on some of its roads to warn motorists of icy, dangerous driving conditions. But visibility and education are lacking; most drivers don't even know the 10 cm devices are there. "They don't provide value to us or the motoring public," admits the city’s roads and maintenance manager.
