Beating The Deadlines: Step-By-Step Guide To Trade Show Planning
Perfect timing is critical for trade show planning. Here's an exhibiting task schedule to help you stay ahead of the deadlines.

When you're planning for a show of any size, the logistical details can seem overwhelming. One method of control is to develop a time line to help you stay on top of each detail. Think of it as your "to-do" list. The following outline provides you with a basic list of details you need to track when planning for a show.

9- 12 Months Out

  • Determine purpose for participating in show
  • Select space: Study floor plans, traffic patterns, services, audience makeup.
  • Read contract carefully: Understand terms, show rules, payment schedule, space assignment method
  • Send in space application and first payment (As a reminder for Sensors 2013, 50% of Booth Deposit is due. A big thanks to those already paid!)
  • Prepare budget

Sensors Expo 2012 Surveys

A big "Thank You!" to all of you that took the time to respond to our annual post-show Exhibitor Survey. We've gathered some great feedback that we'll be looking at as we plan and prepare for the 2013 event.

Key highlights from the surveys:

  • 93% of exhibitors reported that Sensors met or exceeded their expectations
  • 83% of exhibitors were satisfied or extremely satisfied with the quality of 2012 attendees
  • 100% of exhibitors reported that Sensors met their event marketing objectives for Brand Exposure
  • 88% of attendees plan to attend future Sensors events
  • 92% of attendees would recommend Sensors to a colleague
  • 81% of attendees are an active part of decision making process
  • Over half of attendees plan to make a purchase based on a technology they saw at Sensors 2012
  • 97% of attendees rated the Expo Hall as valuable to very valuable
