Joel Young is Vice President of Research and Development and Chief Technical Officer of Digi International and has more than 23 years experience in developing and managing data and voice communications. Mr. Young is responsible for research and development of all of Digi’s core products. Prior to Digi, Mr. Young was Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Transcrypt International. During his tenure at Transcrypt, Mr. Young also served as Vice President of Product Development and Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Young earned a B.S. in electrical engineering and an M.S. in computer science from the University of Southern California.
