NDIR Gas Measurement for Harsh Environments
June 6, 2013 | 2:30pm - 3:10pm
Standard NDIR gas measurement systems generally work in temperatures to 60°C. We describe an NDIR sensor for gas measurement that allows a significantly higher operating temperature range of about 130°C. This high-temperature operation is invaluable to customers who wish to solve gas measurement problems in harsh environments, such as those involving exhaust gases.
In this session, attendees will:
Understand how high-temperature gas measurement cells are constructed
Learn the requirements for the IR-capable source and detector components
