Project Manager Geographic Information Networks
University of Cincinnati
I am a Ph.D Candidate in the Department of Geography at the University of Cincinnati. My work includes developing and implementing prototypes for standardizing sensor networks for scalability and extensibility. I have implemented networks in the Arctic and the lower 48. To accomplish these goals, I am using an approach pioneered by NASA – integrating established technologies to create cyber-information networks. There is a need to advocate the use of open source software within sensor networks for modular architectures. These architectures will enable the innovation within international standards and the Web of Things.
