Ember, Boston, MA, and Cambridge, U.K., offers the EM300 Series of next-generation ZigBee SoCs based on the 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor. Suited for smart energy and home area networks as well as home and building automation, the SoCs offer ZigBee developers a combination of an ARM microprocessor, IEEE 802.15.4 radio, and larger memory for more demanding sensor network applications. The Series includes the EM351 with an ARM Cortex-M3 processor, 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.15.4 RF transceiver, 128 KB Flash, 12 KB RAM, and EmberZNet PRO network protocol stack and the EM357 that has 192 KB Flash with all the other features of the EM351. Link budget is up to 109 dB and sleep current is as low as 400 nA.
