California Eastern Laboratories, Santa Clara, CA, offers the Matrix ZigBee/IEEE 802.15.4 radio module based on the TI CC2430 transceiver platform. The 23 by 29 mm module features an integrated antenna, output power configurable up to 10 mW, and an integrated ADC for direct connection to analog sensors. Modules ship with point-to-point and point-to-multipoint software that lets you configure the module transmission channel, network ID, node ID, transmission power, and send and receive packets as well as determine packet error rates. Applications include home and building automation, industrial control, security, and remote sensor applications.
