The CC2530ZNP from Texas Instruments (TI) Inc., Dallas, TX, is a 2.4 GHz ZigBee network processor with an integrated ZigBee PRO software stack, letting you use your existing host processor to run application code while the CC2530ZNP handles networking tasks. Features include an integrated ZigBee processor (8051 core), compact radio reference design, low current consumption optimized for sleeping end nodes and battery-operated devices, support for TI's Z-Stack software and SimpleAPI, and communication with a host processor via SPI or UART command interface. Applications include home and building automation, industrial monitoring and control, and telehealth.
