The NI 9792 programmable WSN gateway and WSN-3226 voltage/RTD combination node from National Instruments, Austin, TX, extend the company's wireless sensor network platform. The NI 9792 programmable WSN gateway can communicate with the company's WSN nodes as well as other hardware through various open communication standards. The gateway combines a LabVIEW real-time controller and an integrated WSN radio, allowing the LabVIEW real-time applications to run on the gateway to aggregate data from NI WSN devices. The WSN-3226 has 4 analog input channels configurable on a per-channel basis for ±10 V or resistive measurements and 2 bidirectional digital channels. You can choose between high-speed and high-resolution analog input modes.
