Wireless Vibration Monitoring System from IMI Sensors

The Echo wireless vibration monitoring system from IMI Sensors Div., PCB Piezotronics Inc., Depew, NY, uses extended-range RF (ERRF) technology to transmit long distances in typical plant environments, with 0.75 mW ERP in the 900 MHz band, and without interfering with other wireless communications. The system consists of Echo wireless vibration sensors, the EchoPlus wireless junction box, the Echo receiver, and software. The receiver can accept data from hundreds of sensors; the transmitted data set includes overall vibration measurements scaled in acceleration, velocity, true peak, and crest factor. The 8-channel junction box lets you transmit data form existing analog ICP accelerometers. Software lets you establish alarm values, plot vibration data over time, generate reports, and provide email alerts.
