The Wireless Tilt System (WTS) from Sherborne Sensors, Wyckoff, NJ, is a flexible all-weather radio telemetry system to provide accurate remote angle measurement data to surveyors, geotechnical specialists, and structural engineers. The system uses the WTS wireless inclinometer, a MEMS-based sensor, to provide high accuracy and reliability, and couples it with a multichannel digital 2-way telemetry system with a wireless range of up to 100 m. Resolution is 18 bits and battery life is up to 5 years. You can also use the WTS to verify design calculations during manufacture of new structures to refine computer-aided modeling of structural behavior.
