The HOBO ZW Series of wireless data nodes from Onset Computer Corp., Bourne, MA, measure, record, and transmit real-time energy use and environmental data from dozens of points to a central PC. The data nodes work together in a self-healing wireless network to transmit the logged data to the PC at regular intervals. The nodes can measure temperature, RH, kilowatt hours, carbon dioxide, AC voltage, current, gauge pressure, and other parameters. Software lets you configure the networks, view real-time data, and set alarms for any sensors on the network. The devices enable centralized monitoring of energy use and environmental conditions in buildings.
