Wireless Sensors from IntelliSensing
June 27, 2007
IntelliSensing LLC, Orchard Park, NY, offers a series of self-contained pressure, temperature, and flow sensors that communicate with a computer via a wireless gateway. All sensors incorporate IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee radio modems operating at 2.4 GHz; you can choose standard or extended-range models. PressureSensorOne is a general-purpose pressure sensor while PressureSensorTwo is a heavy-duty model with a Weco hammer union, isolated pressure port, and LCD. TemperatureSensorOne is a high-accuracy temperature sensor available in a range of probe lengths. SignalConditionerOne converts wired sensors to wireless sensors. FlowSensorOne uses a turbine rotor and magnetic pickup to measure the volume of media passing through the sensor. BaseStationOne NG is a gateway, linking the wireless sensors to existing systems.
