Digi International, Minnetonka, MN, offers battery-powered XBee wireless sensors for integration with the company's Drop-in Networking products or ZigBee networks. Sensors are available for temperature and light or temperature, light, and humidity. You can integrate them with Drop-in Networking gateways, adapters, and modules over a ZigBee network and monitor them for events and triggers by using a Python development environment that resides on ConnectPort X gateways. Sensors currently support the ZNet 2.5 platform. Applications include building automation, security, energy management, food management, and freight/vehicle monitoring.
