Wireless Sensor System from Omega Engineering Omega Engineering Inc. October 23, 2011 Omega Engineering Inc., Stamford, CT, offers the wSeries wireless transmitters for analog voltage and current, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure that communicate on a standard 802.11 b/g WiFi network. The devices send alarms via text message or email if variables go above or below a user-determined set point. The series includes the wTHP, wTHP2, and wBTHP RH sensors; the wBTP, wBTHP barometric pressure sensors; and the wVI analog voltage and current input sensors. Devices have a communication range of up to 100 m, depending on the environmental conditions. |
