Omega Engineering Inc., Stamford, CT, offers the wSeries wireless transmitters for analog voltage and current, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure that communicate on a standard 802.11 b/g WiFi network. The devices send alarms via text message or email if variables go above or below a user-determined set point. The series includes the wTHP, wTHP2, and wBTHP RH sensors; the wBTP, wBTHP barometric pressure sensors; and the wVI analog voltage and current input sensors. Devices have a communication range of up to 100 m, depending on the environmental conditions.
