LORD Corp., MicroStrain Sensing Systems, Cary, NC, offers the V-Link-LXRS wireless analog sensor node with programmable gain and event-driven triggering. The sensor is designed to improve the resolution and optimize event monitoring in, for example, embeddable health monitoring. The system provides wireless test, measurement, and long-term monitoring with 7 wireless channels that enable rapid, scalable, and nonintrusive application of strain and load sensors on rotating components. Applications include wind turbine structural fatigue, bridge-load health, and quality control testing.
