Panasonic Electronic Components Group, Secaucus, NJ, offers the PAN4561 and PAN4566 ZigBee-compatible wireless RF modules for applications including industrial remote monitoring and control, building/home automation, asset management, automatic meter reading, and environmental monitoring. The PAN4561 is an extended-range 2.4 GHz RF module that employs an 8-bit GT60 processor and offers a max. transmit power of 20 dBm, receive sensitivity of –105 dBm, and a link margin of 125 dBm. The long-range PAN4566 employs a 32-bit ARM7 processor, has a max. transmit power of 20 dBm programmable over a 30 dB range, receive sensitivity of –112 dBm, and a link margin of 132 dBm.
