The SP400 from Sensonor Technologies AS, Horten, Norway, is a fully calibrated and compensated wireless digital absolute pressure sensor available in four pressure ranges from 150 kPa (22 psi) to 2000 kPa (290 psi). Features include an embedded RISC microcontroller, 3 customer-configurable I/O pins that can support specific tasks tied to the application requirement, a built-in RF transmitter that supports communication over the 315 MHz and 433 MHz ranges with adjustable transmission power, and a built-in LF receiver unit that enables 2-way communication. The unit can also output pressure data, the sensor's individual serial number, sensor temperature, supply voltage, and continuous self-diagnostic data. Sensor firmware can be customized to control measurement cycles and processing of the measured data.
