Lantronix Inc., Irvine, CA, offers the MatchPort b/g Pro secure embedded 802.11 b/g networking module. The module's security features include an IEEE 802.11i-compliant radio with AES-CCMP and TKIP, a complete suite of 802.1x EAP (including EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, PEAP, and LEAP security protocols), end-to-end TLS/SSL 3.0 and SSH tunneling, and end-to-end AES 128-bit encrypted tunneling. SmartRoam continuously tracks the radio signal strength to access points within range and allows smooth and automatic transition to an access point with a stronger signal. The module includes a 32-bit 159 MIPS 166 MHz processor, 8 MB of SDRAM, 8 MB of flash memory, 2 serial ports, 7 control pins (CP/GPIO), and a –40°C to 70°C operating temperature range.
