Honeywell Process Solutions, Phoenix, AZ, has added universal I/O transmitters to its family of XYR 6000 wireless devices. The transmitters transmit signals from up to 3 different types of inputs, including measurement devices with high-level analog, temperature, millivolt, or contact-closure switch inputs. Transmitters include a version that can transmit up to 2 inputs and provide a local discrete output, suited for applications involving wireless monitoring of level switches, pump status, and system alarms. The devices carry FM and CSA intrinsically safe approvals.
