DataBridge wireless I/O modules from Starman Electric, San Luis Obispo, CA, are used for point-to-point bridging of analog, digital, and UART data. Two modules automatically link together and function as a wireless cable, bridging both sides through a low-latency, full-duplex wireless link. Each module includes 12 digital I/O, 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, and UART transmit and receive. Signals are sampled and repeated 200 times/s with a 5 ms latency. Each device can be configured as a master or a slave and up to 16 device pairs can operate in the same area by setting a Network ID.
