ADAM-2000Z Series wireless I/O modules from Advantech Corp., Industrial Automation Group, Cincinnati, OH, use the IEEE 802.15.4 standard while supporting 2.4 GHz mesh networking. The series includes five modules, a Modbus/RTU gateway, router node, I/O, and sensor devices and features low power consumption, ensured data integrity, Modbus/RTU protocol support, 16-bit accuracy for the AI module, and a wireless site survey tool in the ADAM utility. The Topology site survey tool lets you get a module's status and wireless communication quality. The ADAM-2000Z Series can connect up to 32 nodes, including router and end devices.
