Texas Instruments Inc., Dallas, TX, offers a ZigBee BoosterPack based on its CC2530 ZigBee SoC that enables developers to jumpstart their designs. The BoosterPack comes with the hardware and software required for ZigBee development to bring up the ZigBee modem, create a network, and send and receive packets. Developed, offered, and supported by Anaren, the ZigBee BoosterPack (A2530E24A-LPZ) works with MSP430 and Stellaris LaunchPad evaluation kits for more microcontroller choices. Each BoosterPack includes an onboard MSP430G2553IN20 Value Line MCU, preflashed with Anaren's AIR-ZNP firmware.
