The FCC/IC-certified CL400 from Laird Technologies Inc., Chesterfield, MO, is a wireless Ethernet bridge based on the company's WISM+ 802.11 embedded module and that provides data throughput and security in a point-to-point network over distances to 1 mile and speeds to 11 Mbps. Suited for use in M2M and industrial applications, the bridge is optimized for point-to-point bridge connections and is preconfigured to communicate over a WPA2-CCMP encrypted, secure 802.11 RF channel, optimizing link speeds according to RF conditions and distances between the units. The bridge is available with an AC power adapter, standard RJ-45 Ethernet jack, and antennas and is prepackaged with all necessary accessories.
