The PSx10W Series wireless device servers from Sena Technologies Inc., San Jose, CA, feature an 802.11b/g wireless network interface and WPA2 and 802.11i-compliant wireless security. The Series includes two models, the single-port PS110W and 2-port PS210W. Other features include flexible operation, TCP/UDP multicasting, telnet COM port control protocol support (RFC2217-compliant), and port event handling. On the network side the devices have a 10/100Base port for backup configuration purposes and both support infrastructure and ad-hoc operation modes. Applications include connecting devices used in M2M automation applications that require data logging, wireless sensor control, and monitoring where running Ethernet cables is impractical.
