Wide-Temperature Ethernet Switches from Wago

The 852-103 and 852-104 from WAGO Corp., Germantown, WI, are Ethernet switches that operate between –40°C and 70°C. The unmanaged 852-103 Ethernet switch features a redundant power supply, a 9–48 V supply voltage range, a top-mounted DIP switch to set an alarm relay to monitor loss of 24 VDC or port status, 8 100Base-TX ports for copper connections, and two 100Base-FX SFP ports for fiber-optic cables. The 7-port, managed 852-104 provides Xpress Ring and Jet Ring networking features, with Xpress ring enabling network recovery from link failure within 50 ms and Jet Ring providing redundant data-transmission routes during link failure/damage with recovery in <300 ms. The switch also provides Web-based management, port configuration, and data packet prioritization. The switch has 7 100Base-TX ports and two 100Base-FX SFP ports.
