The AS1000 from HYDAC Technology Corp., Electronic Div., Bethlehem, PA, continuously monitors hydraulic and lubrication fluids, measuring the water content relative to the percent of water saturation in the fluid. The sensor provides a 4–20 mA output with a –13°F to 212°F temperature measurement range and can be installed into a system via a threaded connection. Applications include monitoring hydraulic and lubrication fluids in power plants, paper and steel mills, automotive plants, offshore rigs, and plastic and machine tools.
